My main controller board needs to communicate with both the NTM88 and NCF29A modules, which operate at identical RF and LF frequencies. Is it feasible to use a single RF receiver and a single LF transmitter on the main board to interface with both devices?
Hello chinnanc
Based on the diagram you shared with me, it seems feasible to use a single RF receiver and a single LF transmitter on the main board to communicate with both NTM88 and NCF29A modules, as long as both operate on the same RF and LF frequencies.
1.- Ensure the design has adequate isolation to prevent interference between modules.
2.- If modules respond simultaneously, consider implementing an access control protocol.
I hope this information has helped you, please let me know if you need help with anything else.
Have a great day and best of luck.
Hello chinnanc
Good day!
Yes, In the features section of NTM88 you can find the following:
- Internal 315/434 MHz RF transmitter
- Internal 125 kHz LF receiver
We only have application notes of NTM88 working as LF receiver on our official website.
I am afraid NCF29AG-H is only able to receive data via LT and not via RF TX.
I hope this information has helped you, please let me know if you need help with anything else.
Have a great day and best of luck.
