Replacement part for MPXV2053GP?

Hi!

We are using MPXV2010GP and MPXV2053GP in two different versions of one of our level transmitters.

We recently found out that MPXV2053GP is discontinued. Has NXP replaced it with a new type?

Would you recomended another sensor for replacing it?

It would be important to avoid re-design, as the two sensors are used in the same PCB depending on version.

Though, we may have some flexibility if the main mechanical parts (presure inlet, pinout, dimensions etc.) of the new 50kPa sesnor are compatible and allow a  modification on the existing design

Any help would be useful..

Hi Stelios,

You are right, the MPXV2053GP was discontinued few years ago as shown in the PCN15504.

There is no new direct replacement, but a possible alternative could be the MPXV2053DP which is still an active part:

MPXx2053|Differential/Gauge|Pressure Sensor|NXP
