LX2160A is NXP’s highest performance multicore device with 16 Arm-v8 64-bit A72 cores at up to 2.2 GHz. It also has 24 SerDes lanes running at 25 GHz supporting dual 100GE interfaces and up to 24 lanes of PCIe Express. It has security acceleration to 50 Gbps and data compression/decompression to 100 Gbps. This session will explain LX2160A’s suitability for the main target applications (5G, industrial, ADAS, storage, NIC, and edge routing), benchmarking results (CoreMark, Dhrystone, DPDK, SpecInt, …), software and reference board enablement, 3rd-party board solutions, and how it stacks up against the Xeon-D family of devices.
