Demo Neural network classification method based on SqueezeNet. Images are captured by the camera processed and classified by the S32V processor and then displayed on the TV monitor with a confidence percentage calculated for each object visualized. Overview In this demo we show how to load an example of an NFC reader using the combination between the UDOO NEO card and the development kit for the PN7150. PN7150ARD kit is a high performance fully NFC compliant expansion board compatible with Arduino Compatible Interface platforms. Demo Owner: David Chung Intended to demonstrate how one can leverage NXP technology to safely transport loads in a range of settings from a shipyard to an assembly line. Demo runs a Seavus developed application that pre-calculates a path based on environmental input given by the QorIQ LS1021A.  It then moves the load according to that path, adjusting for unforeseen hazards such as people who move in the way during transport.  It ensures that the landing area is clear before dropping the load. Connecting the Streets of Austin with Live V2X Demonstration – NXP FTF 2016 “Together with Siemens and Electric Cab of Austin NXP is showing how V2X and other connected technologies are going to change the face of our cities as we know them – making them more efficient, cleaner and less congested” Demo / product features V2X technology warns drivers of traffic hazards, increasing the safety for the driver, while taking people or objects into account, essentially “seeing around corners”. Overview This reference design describes a 3-phase brushless DC motor (BLDC) drive that uses the NXP® MC56F8006 Digital Signal Controller (DSC) for dedicated motor control devices. Closed-loop speed/current-controlled BLDC drive, with no need for position or speed sensors. Low-voltage power stages used by the application are designed for 24 VDC line voltage. A reference manual provides a detailed description of the application, including hardware and software design. Hardware schematics, PCB Gerber files and full software listings are also provided. Ideal for applications such as compressors, dishwasher pump drives, washing machines, fans and industrial motor control. Introduction Overview The following demo is part of a bundle of examples that shortly will be available in the LSDK. As can be seen in the video, there is a menu for the user to select the desired demo and start testing the different approaches the FRWY LS1046A TPU is capable of executing. These examples aim to demonstrate AI/ML capability through multiple “dockerized” demos including face recognition, Industrial safety & security -MPU and TPU versions-, People counter using the CPU and a pose detection demonstration. By using the native PCIe 3.0 of the LS1046A MPU, is possible to showcase the ML frameworks offload and acceleration via Coral Tensor Processing Unit. The below video shows one of the ML examples for pose detection of a person by using a simple USB camera plugged into the LS1046A FRWY board. Using the ML frameworks from Coral Tensor, the body movements and positions are detected by using the joints as the reference for movement detection of the body. As in the video is mentioned, the performance enhancement by using the TPU versus the CPU, improves significantly the frames per second from ~5 fps to ~30 fps.
