Command line option “-asm_enhance” Usage (CW for S12Z) Recently we helped a customer resolve a question related with “asm_enhance”command line option usage. It’s strange there is no documentation of this knowledge in CodeWarrior help manual. After many discussions with development team, it gets clear to me. So I wrote an article on this topic for sharing.   “ -asm_enhance” option is added in ColdWarrior10 /CodeWarrior11 “compiler setting”, “General”, “Other Flags”:   "-asm_enhance" command line option can be used for two distinct aspects: Enabling inline assembly data optimizations Enabling stack effect computation through inline assembly code. These two aspects were all gathered under the same option because they both are referring to enhanced inline assembly – i.e. inline assembly code that gets handled almost as C code). MEasy HMI QT Demo on i.MX6UL/6ULL MYD-Y6ULX Development Board The MEasy HMI developed by MYIR is a set of human-machine interfaces which contains a local HMI based on QT5 and a Web HMI based on Python2 back-end and HTML5 front-end. It runs on development boards with LCD, touch panel, Ethernet and so on. The dependency software includes dbus, connman and QT5 applications, python, tornado and other components. The video gives a demonstration on how to use the examples in MEasy HMI on MYIR's MYD-Y6ULX development board. It also applies to MYIR's MYS-6ULX Single Board Computer.

To enable build history, add the following to each building system's # It is recommended to activate "buildhistory" for testing the PR service INHERIT += "buildhistory" BUILDHISTORY_COMMIT = "1" PRSERV_HOST = "localhost:0"  # This will set up your host computer as Package Revision Server // PACKAGE_FEED_URIS = "http://10.170.96.7/imx7rpm" #please place any server ip addr, this one is mine. add also the following to enable the package management (smart): EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES += "package-management" Setup your own http server, and link the server repository with your tmp/deploy/rpm repo (your are free to use your preferred http server). Since Morty (yocto 2.4), smart has been deprecated, and now the package management is done with dnf (from Debian). Please check dnf document to get more to know about dnf. The dependencies are still poorly controlled. NXP are at the forefront of this wave. For example the i.MX 7 family of devices implement both a Cortex-A7 application processor and a Cortex-M4 embedded processor. In this session we will discuss the challenges that such a design brings to a developer, as well as how with DS-5, ARM gives you a powerful tool to address them.
