Hello.

We wish to use eMMC with the Vybrid.Does the linux BSP(s) from Timesys Support support eMMC memory technologies currently?

From different forum posts, it seems a bit unclear if this support is in place or not.

Please clarify.

MQX does not support this in their BSP;

Vybrid, eMMC, MQX

TimeSys has commented a similar request at an earlier stage

How to use both sdhc0 and sdhc1?

I.Mx Sabre Board with Linux seems to support this

Booting Linux from eMMC

Thanks!

Hi Andreas,

While there is support for some eMMC devices in the 3.13 Linux kernel in the Timesys BSP, this support is not specifically enabled for the Vybrid platform. At a minimum, supporting this would require modifying the kernel configuration and device tree source.

Thanks,

Timesys Support
