VR5510-FMEDA-external circuit

Hello, when I analyse the external circuit of VR5510 and calculate the FMEDA of the system,how can I integrate the FMEDA of VR5510 into my system FMEDA?

for example the function block:High voltage buck,Vpre, the MOS Q1 and Q2 has the failure mode and fit

PRE-Regulator has the failure mode and fit.

Accourding to failure mode (regulaterd output  in OV UV drift ...)descripted in sheet<FMEDA_PM>,it seems the sub block <PRE-REGULATOR> includes the external MOSFET of Q1 and Q2.

Hello the HV buck in the FMEDA (VR5510) is not including the external FET. We stop our quantitative analyis to to pinout and we don't consider the ext components. The suggestion is that you use the FMEDA VR5510 in addition to your bill of materials (Q1, Q2 and i guess others you might have).
