S32K3 RTD v.2.0.3 is delivered as an Update Site for S32 Design Studio "S32 Design Studio IDE v3.4 Update 3".

I have installed the S32DS v.3.4. 

An error occurred when building the S32K344_HSE_OTA(SW32K3_OTADEMO_0.8.0) project, it seems to be missing the StandardTypes.h/S32K344_MU.h/Compiler.h etc. file, where can I find these file? or do you know the solution?

Hi @Panpan 

For the S32K344_HSE_OTA project, you must have installed the Real Time Drivers v1.0.0 in S32DS v.3.4 and the S32K344 with AB_SWAP HSE firmware.

To run the project:

1. Import the project to your S32DS workspace (File -> Import... -> General -> Existing Projects into Workspace)
2. Build the project (right-click on project name -> Build project)
3. Go to Run/Debug and select the desired debug configuration, and click on Launch.
4. The PRACTICE script will halt the code at main().
5. Type Go and enter
6. Code will halt at Random Number Generation Demo (Demo_RandomNumberGeneration())
7. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
8. Code will halt at Key Provisioning Demo (Demo_KeyProvisioning())
9. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
10. Code will halt at Authentication Demo (Demo_Authentication())
11. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
12. Code will halt at Symmmetric Cipher Demo (Demo_SymmetricCipher())
13. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
14. Code will halt at Hash Demo (Demo_Hash())
15. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
16. Code will halt at OTA Update Demo (Demo_OtaUpdate())
17. Type Go and enter (to execute demo)
18. Type CONTINUE to execute the practice script.
19. RESET is issued to the device, and the OTA Update application will execute.

For the S32K344_HSE_OTA project, it indicates the HW requires the S32K3XXEVB-Q172 and P&E debug tool. Where and how the P&E debug tool can be bought?

And how the Trace32 and Multi GHS software can be downloaded?

Hi @Panpan 

If you are using an EVB, it includes two options for debugging. You can connect a debugger to the 20-pin Cortex Debug D ETM Connector with TRACE or the 10-pin Cortex Debug JTAG Connector (depending on your board) and the on-board S32K3 debugger (see the below image).

I am planning to buy the S32K3X4EVB-T172 evaluation board, I need to purchase the TRACE connector from the third party. Right?

And is there a soft simulation environment for S32K3X4?
