When the ADC fails to calibrate for some reason, the hardware state machine of the ADC module remains in Calibrate. After the software completes the calibration process, it will disable the ADC module, reconfigure the clock, and then enable the module again. The criterion for the software to return is the ADC status register, but currently, the value of the register is Calibrate. The software returns a timeout and then will not power up this ADC module again. The main problem now is why the hardware state machine of the ADC module remains in Calibrate?And this problem is occasional, and as long as you change a little code, the problem will be very difficult to reproduce. i.MX8MP can bus examples on windows 10 IoT Hello NXP experts! In the FlexCAN-interrupt example under the W21H2-1-5-2-imx-windows-bsp\examples\can directory, data is sent and received using interrupts with a single Message Buffer. I want to use FIFO with DMA for CAN data reception. Do you have more CAN examples I can check out? Regardless of whether we use interrupts or polling, or Message Buffer / legacy FIFO modes, we are consistently losing frames. It seems that incoming CAN Frames are not being read quickly enough from HW registers. Additionally, when the system is under load (for example, simply opening Windows Explorer during polling or while waiting for an interrupt), the frame loss becomes significantly worse. Have you encountered as user similar issues or behavior? PMHF (in FIT) value MCU0 (S32K324) MCU1 (S32K388) (ASIL B)  MCU1 (S32K388) (ASIL D) MCU3 (S32N55)   PMHF value was not stated clearly in Safety report of MCU1, for example. It does demonstrate the SPFM & LFM, but not PMHF. In the safety report of MCU1 (S32K388), there is a guideline, below the summary table from Medini, mentioning that SoC level result to be used to calculate PMHF.   (Note: Medini does not calculate PMHF automatically, you need to place additional script within Medini) Re: [MCU0/1/3] PMHF Value (in FIT) Hello @90insu, It is not possible for NXP to provide a PMHF value to customers because the PMHF calculation depends on the system topology and the specific use case, which are not known to us. NXP supplies the necessary residual failure rates and latent failure rates for its components so that customers can incorporate them into their own PMHF calculations. ISO 26262:2018 Part 10 provides examples and guidance on how PMHF can be calculated, which customers may use as a reference. Want to know how many clock cycles are might be taken by the CPU to assert the LPM_ACK of MCR? To set LPM_ACK it is just one clock cycle. I expect that LPM_ACK bit is acknowledge signal directly rooted from CAN module, so it will be one cycle. (as it is for other ACK bits of the other IPs). There is no need for delays, as it is not going trough any bus interface. But if you are asking how many clock cycles will take from MDIS until the LPM_ACK is set, then: If the module is disabled during transmission or reception, FlexCAN does the following: • Waits to be in either Idle or Bus Off state, or else waits for the third bit of Intermission and then checks it to be recessive • Waits for all internal activities like arbitration, matching, move-in and move-out to finish • Ignores its Rx input pin and drives its Tx pin as recessive • Shuts down the clocks to the CPI and MBM sub-modules • Sets the NOT_RDY and LPM_ACK bits in MCR Best regards, Peter Re: MPC5645: LPM_ACK asserting time by CPU for CAN modules Hi Peter, Thanks for the information.
