Hello, @Wzlinux  It is strange that there is no pfeng.ko under your directory, not sure if you set "pfe-slave " during the Yocto building, I had a test and the pfeng.ko could be found from my following directory: /lib/modules/6.6.32-rt32-00903-g49d9f8bb25e0/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/nxp/pfe/pfeng.ko Would you please help to double check your Yocto building settings? Besides, if you want to manually build the PFE Linux driver, then 1.7 version is required for BSP42, it could be built following the same way for building Linux modules. Hello, @Wzlinux  The 100baseT1 port is on the sja1110, which is connected to the PFE_MAC0 by default. Firstly, you may add the PFE support to the image built(the pre-built images could include the PFE support by default), after entering the Linux shell, you may see the pfeX ports by ifconfig -a. Then, you could try pinging PFE0 via 100base-T1 port.(assume that this port is directly connected to your testing devices like a host) BR Chenyin Re: S32G-VNP-RDB3 How to open 100BASE-T1 port. Hi @chenyin_h Thank you for your reply. Yes , I can connect the 100-base-T1 from the 50 connector. My question is how could I enable the 100-base-T1 port from SW? is it default enable (for example: SJA1110 P10 100-BASE-T1)after i burned the BSP42.0 to SD card and boot up from SD card? from the Ethernet-enable guide i learned that 100-base-T1 is controlled by SJA1110, should I enable SJA1110 first? whether those is enable default(BSP42.0 fsl-image-auto )? Re: S32G-VNP-RDB3 How to open 100BASE-T1 port. Hello, @Wzlinux  Thanks for your post. On RDB3, there are J53 Mini 50 connector and a harness cable for 100-Base-T1. you may connect the cable to your testing devices to test it. If you do not have specific devices to connect to the cable, I suggest buying a RJ45-100BASET1 converter to have it tested. BR Chenyin

Further Information for the S32K1_S32M24x Real-Time Drivers ASR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 QLP1 Hello, I was notified about the latest RTD (S32K1_S32M24x Real-Time Drivers ASR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 QLP1) for the S32K1 group of MCUs.  The short description mentions a release note but there is no further information provided. Can you provide more information on what has been fixed in the current RTD as opposed to the one I am using right now, which is the S32K1_S32M24X Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 P03 CD01.  Based on the short description one should choose this RTD because it has RTM (release to manufacturing) quality status. Maybe you can elaborate on that. Last, can you elaborate how these three packages differ and how one should choose one over the other: SW32K1_S32M24x_RTD_R21-11_2.0.0_QLP1_D2408_QualityPackage.zip SW32K1_S32M24x_RTD_R21-11_2.0.0_QLP1_D2408_SafetyPackage.zip SW32K1_S32M24x_RTD_R21-11_2.0.0_QLP1_DS_updatesite_D2408.zip Best regard, M_SCH Re: Further Information for the S32K1_S32M24x Real-Time Drivers ASR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 QLP1 Hi @M_SCH  When there is a problem with a driver the software team uses the RTM drivers and adds the fix. When the fix pass the test to validate the functionality they publish this new software version. As mentioned in the description this patch is a release for S32K1 & S32M24x of Security Crypto driver based on Autosar R21-11. Regarding the DS_updatesite_D2408, QualityPackage and SafetyPackage. The update site is a package that must be installed in S32 Designe Studio to update drivers. The QualityPackage and SafetyPackage provides documents relared to the Crypto driver like test reports, RTD safety manual, amoung others. Finally, the use of versions with Code Drop quality status is not recommended because in terms of testing it is not fully tested. So, it is not recommended for production use, but can be used as a reference. The Security Crypto driver included in the 32K1_S32M24X Real Time Drivers AUTOSAR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 P03 CD01 has Code Drop quality and in the S32K1_S32M24x Real-Time Drivers ASR R21-11 Version 2.0.0 QLP1 has RTM quality. LPCXpresso860 SPI Hi.I have an SPI issue, may I know how to handle it? The official routine spi_transfer_rma_stlave calls the EXAMPLE_MasterStartDMATransfer() function twice in a row in the main function. The captured SPI waveform shows that the second transfer will raise the CS for each data. We need to send data for the second time, and only raise CS after the data is sent. It's not like raising CS every time we send data LPC800 Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI Hi, If you want to call the function multiple times, you have to poll if the predefined number of data has been transferred, after the DMA transfer completed, then you can call again. int main(void) { /* Initialize the boards */ /* Attach main clock to USART0 (debug console) */ CLOCK_Select(kUART0_Clk_From_MainClk);   BOARD_InitBootPins(); BOARD_BootClockFRO48M(); BOARD_InitDebugConsole();   /* Attach main clock to SPI0. */ CLOCK_Select(kSPI0_Clk_From_MainClk);   PRINTF("This is SPI dma transfer master example!\n\r"); PRINTF("To make sure the transfer work successfully, please start the slave board first!\n\r");   /* Initialize the SPI master with configuration. */ EXAMPLE_SPIMasterInit();   /* Set up DMA configuration. */ EXAMPLE_MasterDMASetup();   /* Start transfer with slave board. */ loop: __asm("nop"); EXAMPLE_MasterStartDMATransfer(); while(masterTxFinished) {} masterTxFinished=false; goto loop; /* Check the received data. */ EXAMPLE_TransferDataCheck();   /* De-initialize the DMA. */ DMA_Deinit(EXAMPLE_SPI_MASTER_DMA_BASEADDR);   /* De-initialize the SPI. */ SPI_Deinit(EXAMPLE_SPI_MASTER);   while (1) { } }   Hope it can help you BR XiangJun Rong Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI yes, demo is called once.  But. I need to modify this demo by calling this function multiple times. How can I avoid a second call where the master sends a data and then raises the CS value? For example. I need to send 8 bytes of data, and I hope to send all 8 bytes of data before raising the CS. The current practice is to go to the initial SPI(EXAMPLE-SPIMasterInit()), before call this function;... It shouldn't be used that way, right? Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI Hi, As the following screenshot, EXAMPLE_MasterStartDMATransfer(); is called only once.   BR XiangJun Rong Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI I don't know why I called this function twice. The first time I called this function to send data, CS was pulled down during the entire data transmission process. The second time I called it, CS was indeed pulled up for each data transmission. Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI Hi, As you know that the SPI is Full Duplex protocol, the transmitter and receiver work synchronously, the spi uses two DMA channels, one is for receiver, another is for transmitter Hope it can help you BR XiangJun Rong Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI Is there any result yet? Re: LPCXpresso860 SPI Hi, Can you send us the project so that we can know the code context? BR Xiangjun Rong

Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. Hi,nxp 1.By modifying the linker_flash_s32k312.ld file, the starting address of p_flash was changed from 0x00400000 to 0x00440200, resulting in the program malfunctioning, as shown in the attached image. The code is included in the attachment. 2.The expected outcome is that the program does not feed the watchdog and should restart from the beginning, rather than malfunctioning. That's all, thank you. Re: Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. Hi, Erase the entire chip and reload the program. Thanks Re: Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. I modified the original project by changing the starting address of int_pflash to 0x00500000 in the linker_flash_s32k312.ld file, but the program still runs incorrectly. Am I misunderstanding something, or is there another area that I haven't changed? 1)linker_flash_s32k312.ld->MEMORY 2)Schematic of program malfunction Re: Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. You can place it at 0x50_0000, which is a valid IVT address and it is in the next block, so it can be programmed by the bootloader in the 0x40_0000 block. Regarding the HSE_FW, please create a new thread. Thank you, BR, Daniel Re: Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. Hi,danielmartnek 1.I understand that this project should be flashed by a bootloader, right? Reply:Yes,There are other matters to pay attention to. 2.But if you flash the project directly (DM181S_S32K312_BOOT.elf), the SBAF then searches for the first valid IVT starting from the lowest address at 0x00400000. Reply:According to your intention, when debugging the app project online without the bootloader, the starting address of int_pflash still needs to be set to 0x00400000. 3.Additionally, if we enable the HSE firmware later on, how should we debug the app project that does not include the bootloader, and how do we allocate memory? Re: Changes to the p_flash of the S32K312 may cause the program to run erratically. Hi @victory, I understand that this project should be flashed by a bootloader, right? LPC43S70 HSADC THRESHOLD_SEL=1(THR_A) And HSADC MATCH_VALUE=1 Hi Want to know the behavior HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x0) and HSADC_DESC_THRESH_A below example, As my undestand,  HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x0) will start simpling imediataly in this case. and HSADC_DESC_THRESH_A will start simpling at trigger threshold_A. In this case. which behavior will be higher priority? simpling  imediataly or wait unitl THRSH_A trigger? Chip_HSADC_SetupDescEntry(LPC_ADCHS, 0, 0, (HSADC_DESC_CH(1) | HSADC_DESC_BRANCH_NEXT | HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x1) | HSADC_DESC_THRESH_A | HSADC_DESC_RESET_TIMER)); Re: LPC43S70 HSADC THRESHOLD_SEL=1(THR_A) And HSADC MATCH_VALUE=1 Hi xiangjun_rong thanks for your clarification. No more question. Re: LPC43S70 HSADC THRESHOLD_SEL=1(THR_A) And HSADC MATCH_VALUE=1 Hi, I suppose that you misunderstood the threshold_A, it is not a trigger source, it is a compare register, the ADC sample result is compared with the threshold_A register automatically, then update flag or fire interrupt which indicates that the analog signal is below a threshold or above a threshold. If you set HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x10), the adchs module has an internal counter, the tick is the ADC clock, after hardware/software trigger, when the counter reaches 16 or 0x10, the ADC will convert, so the ADC conversion rate is Fadc/16.is you set  HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x00), the ADC will generate a sample for each ADC clock cycle. Hope it can help you BR Xiangjun Rong Re: LPC43S70 HSADC THRESHOLD_SEL=1(THR_A) And HSADC MATCH_VALUE=1 Hi @xiangjun_rong  I don't quite understand. Here a case of  both  HSADC_DESC_THRESH_A and HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x10) set to descriptor. then  while  threshold_A was trigger at hsadc timer 0x5, what is the timing clock of simpling? clock 0x5, 0x6 or 0x10? thanks Peter Re: LPC43S70 HSADC THRESHOLD_SEL=1(THR_A) And HSADC MATCH_VALUE=1 Hi, Q1)HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x0)will start sampling immediately in this case. >>>>>The HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x0) does not mean that the ADC converter starts-up immediately, the HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0xxx)  can control the ADC sampling time(ADC conversion rate). Setting HSADC_DESC_MATCH(0x00) means that the ADC can get one sample for each ADC clock. You can use software trigger to start ADC conversion by setting the SW_TRIGGER bit in Trigger register, pls refer to section 48.6.5 Trigger register. You can use hardware trigger to start ADC conversion by setting the ADCHS_TRIGGER_IN reg, pls refer to section 18.4.25 ADCHS trigger input multiplexer (ADCHS_TRIGGER_IN). Q2)and HSADC_DESC_THRESH_A will start simpling at trigger threshold_A. >>>>>DESCRIPTOR0x[THRESHOLD_SEL] selects the ADC result comparsion threshold register, it is NOT related to ADC starting. S32K344_Icu Module Hi , Im testing Icu Module Example code in S32K344 Code was Working But My query is In peripheral Icu Module configuration User_edge dection(); function Is there But its not triggering that function then why that function used in that Example code can i Know the reason. i download the training Document also mention. i didn't understand. thank u Re: S32K344_Icu Module Hi @Robin_Shen, thank u for quick reply ,I checked this apart from this method any other method is there test. Re: S32K344_Icu Module Test the project in SIUL2 external interrupt example project using S32K3 RTD without AUTOSAR. SIUL2 eirq13(SW4 PTB26) is configured for ICU_RISING_EDGE. When you press SW4 to generate a rising edge, it should enter it's own IcuSignalNotification(for example: SW4_eirq13_PTB26_Callback ) In addition, when debugging, you can also set a breakpoint in Siul2_Icu_Ip_ProcessInterrupt (RTD/src/Siul2_Icu_Ip_Irq.c) and observe which EIF bit of the 10.6.4 SIUL2 DMA/Interrupt Status Flag 0 (DISR0) register was set. Re: S32K344_Icu Module Hi @Robin_Shen, I Appreciate u r QuickTime Response. My Query was How i need to Test the ICU module In S32K344 DS using SIUL2_EIRQ. How to Know i'm Receiving Correct Input. Can u have Any Reference Snippet Plz provide me for My Understanding. thank u Re: S32K344_Icu Module Did you read the link I gave you? I think if you refer to it and - S32K3xx Pins and Clocks with RTD - Training, you should be able to implement SIUL2 external interrupt according to the pin EIRQ number you modified. I don't understand your question. Please tell me which pin do you need to set as EIRQ to trigger the interrupt? Re: S32K344_Icu Module Hi @robin _Shen, thank u so much for u r Quick Response, Same Material only I'm using. when that Callback function and when will that function hit. After Trigger that Output pin give it as Input for ICU or before function call. can I know the how to Test the ICU module , if any material is there mean plz provide me. Re: S32K344_Icu Module Hi I don't know which training you are watching, so I'm not sure if the content is complete. Please tell me the link of the training. IMX8MP Encrypted Rootfs Hello, I want to encrypted my rootfs using the CAAM. As far as I know, the CAAM has a power cycle safe key storage which can be used  for this task. The AN12714 does not really help. I've seen couple of posts where had been some document suggestions, such as "/Root-filesystem-encryption-using-DM-Crypt". All of them which had restricted access. I am looking for any guide that can help me. Your suggestion is correct, but the startup logs of our custom board and RDB3 seem to be very different. I would like to ask for support again. Re: S32G3 Customized Boards Init fail Hi, @jiajun_cheng  Thanks for your confirmation I suggest disabling the USB support from the following snapshot: (make menuconfig ARCH=arm64, under device drivers) And then re-build the kernel image to have a try, we could check if there are any changes from the log printed. BR Chenyin Re: S32G3 Customized Boards Init fail Hi, @chenyin_h : Yes, I used bsp42 and made a mistake typing it incorrectly,Sorry. This log is complete, after which s32g3 will reset Re: S32G3 Customized Boards Init fail Hi, @chenyin_h : What should I do if I disable the USB kernel. Please guide me,thank you. Re: S32G3 Customized Boards Init fail Hi, @jiajun_cheng  Thanks for your post. I assume that you are working with BSP42.0, is it right? the logs shown above is the full prints? From the current log, I suggest firstly disable the USB support for initial trial. BR Chenyin
