Salutare!

In this milestone, we completed the project by finalizing the mobile app and testing the entire system. Technically, we added the "follow up" function to the mobile app that allows us to see the current position of the car and to see the way it's updated in real time (real time tracking). Also, the camera of the map is animated so that the user can see the actual movement of the car. We made the final testing by putting our device in the car, connecting all the components, and making sure that everything works as expected (mobile app, API and the device). Also the notification system was stress tested to see if it handles a real-world scenario.

In this milestone we focused on creating the infrastructure that controls the data flow that we receive from the device. We created a Web API application (ASP .NET ) hosted in Google Cloud Platform that stores and interprets our data (that comes from the device) and also sends a notification to the mobile app informing the user that the car is being stolen (it has moved). We also created the mobile app (native, created in Xamarin.Android) that consumes the Google Maps API in order to embed a map fragment that we use to display the position of our device (and implicitly, the position of the car). The notification system is production ready, in the way that we use Azure Notification Hub as a middleware for passing notifications because it's scalable, reliable, contains telemetry and it's also secure.

Milestone 4 - "Each recipe must be available for the user via a set of Wi-Fi commands. These commands will trigger the machine into mixing the right drinks for that user."

- we built our robot and as you can see we printed a bridge beetwen the motors with our 3D printer - we have already bought a very good battery but it has not arrived yet, we are sorry for this - our robot is functional and we chose firstly to give commands throw udoo command line with .ino files, but in the next Milestone we will change this because we realised that it would be much better to command throw web server

Acesta are are 6 orificii pentru a asigura irigarea uniforma a pamantului din sera.

When judging the projects we aim to be as fair as possible and identify the projects which are better than ordinary. We are looking for original ideas, something new or something that is improving what existed before, projects well executed and well documented. Each project will be ranked in two parts: During the Development period we will rank certain milestones.       Each milestone will have an associated number of points and deadline. The number of the milestones, interval and assigned points depend on the project itself. During the final we will judge the projects after they have been finalized and presented. Judging during the final The jury will be formed by NXP experienced engineers from two business groups who will try to be as objective as possible and determine the top three projects. The criterion and their weights are depicted below. Criterion Explanation Weight Originality Is this something new or improving something that existed before ? 20% Execution Does it do what it should do? Does it behave according to documentation in multiple scenarios ? Are there stability problems? 40% Usability Is the project easy to use and/or integrate ? Is it easy to understand and learn? 10% Utility Does it have applicability within the IoT or Automotive domains ? 10% Documentation Is the documentation easy to be read and understood? Is anyone with average knowledges on embedded able to reproduce the projects? 20%
