Greetings,

On the Sabre board for Smart Devices of iMX6, the PMIC power on pin is connected to VSNVS rail and this confuses me. If PWRON pin is configured as level sensitive such that active high turns the device on, how can it turn itself on when is is not yet turned on and there is no voltage on the VSNVS output? Can someone explain? Perhaps I am misinterpreting the situation.

Hello,

The PMIC VSNVS pin is connected to Li-cel, assuming it is always ON power,

or it is powered first during PMIC Start-up Sequence. Please refer to PMIC

Datasheet about its power up sequence.
