Hi all

I searched a i.MX Community and found following thread. But I couldn't figure out. So please let me know.

All Boards Java

NXP ARM-based processor with Java SE support

Can i.MX6UL support CLDC 1.1 ?

Yes, you can use Java ME 8 for the i.MX6, please take a look at the following document:

This seems to be the only source I could find regarding i.MX6 and Java ME 8.

Can you please clarify your answer:

is Java ME 8 (Embedded) supported on the Cortex-A9 cores out-of-the-box? (like i.MX6 DualLite)

The linked documentation only talks about Cortex-M4 (which would be i.MX6 SoloX) as well as ARM9. As far as I know, ARM9 is not the same as the ARM Cortex-A9 used in the i.MX6, or is it?

Do you have any supporting documentation on how to get Java ME 8 up and running on an (Cortex-A9) i.MX6?

Your help is much appreciated.

Janek
