Can I use external oscillator with spread spectrum function?

Can I use 24MHz external oscillator with spread spectrum function to the i.MX6 processor?

Or, is there another way to use?

in general this is not recommended due to restrictions in

sect.2.7 Oscillator tolerance IMX6DQ6SDLHDG

System PLL supports spread spectrum modulation

described in sect.18.5.1.3.3 System PLL IMX6DQRM
