Hi

Why does the S32k manual say that the number of user keys is 20 and that of AN5401 is 17? How should we interpret these two tables?

Hi @ZEROOO

There are two sections about flash memory - one for the FTFC module and the second for the FTFM module.

The FTFC flash is on all S32K1 devices except S32K14xW. So, FTFM is on S32K14xW only. This one was designed later for an extended temperature range.
If you check the FTFC description (Cryptographic Services Engine (CSEc) module features section), you can find: "Secure cryptographic key storage (ranging from 3 to 17 user keys)".

If you check the FTFM description: "Secure cryptographic key storage (up to 20 user keys)".

AN5401 was written before the launch of S32K14xW, so it's not mentioned there. So this is just not up to date in this matter.
