Is IMX8M Plus using WDQS? Hi all, I am confirming whether the IMX8M Plus has the WDQS function enabled? I checked the RPA excel file, but I don't understand clearly. Can you confirm this for me? 1. Create frame buffer without hdmi device Processor: iMX8M System: Yocto with Wayland  I would like to play video immediately after the system starts. However, I encounter a problem when the HDMI cable isn't connected during system startup. In this situation, a frame buffer isn't created, which is correct in the normal situation. I can't start playing such situation.  Is there any way to create a frame buffer with specified resolution without detecting the HDMI device? The approach should continue to play the video after connecting the cable on a compatible screen. It would be difficult, maybe impossible, to implement dynamic allocation from the MATLAB code. Could you tell as the approximate size of your vectors? If your algorithm allows you can execute multiple times the LAX graph on chunks of your vectors. Another option, not supported in our toolbox but it is in the Radar SDK, is to use DMA inside the LAX graph to transfer chunks of matrices/vector and process them. How to receive partial bytes I am attempting to select a certain card UID by sending the command {0x93, 0x23} for example, in order to send the first three bits of a UID. The issue is that the PICC responds with the first three bits of the first byte cut off. So far, I was unable to read the response, since the parity calculation causes issues. Turning parity off gives reception errors, while turning it on introduces ones and zeroes into the result, while parsing some data bytes as parity. In any case, is there a way to tell the PN5180 to start the reception by skipping a few bits?  Thanks! This is not a problem that can be solved by modifying the link file. You should check the space occupied by your application code.

Can the S32K144 BLDC/PMSM Development Kit Support a 24V Motor Instead of a 12V One? Hello, I'm currently working with the S32K144 BLDC/PMSM Development Kit, which includes the MC34GD3000 motor driver IC. According to the application circuit of the MC34GD3000, it seems to be designed for controlling 12V BLDC motors. However, the BLDC motor that comes with this development kit is actually a 24V motor. This raises some concerns for me: 🔍 My Questions 1️⃣ Is it safe and efficient to use a 24V motor with this kit, even though the MC34GD3000 seems designed for 12V operation? 2️⃣ Can the motor control inverter circuit handle 24V operation without modification, or would it require changes to support the higher voltage? 3️⃣ Are there any voltage-related constraints in the MC34GD3000 that I should be aware of when running a 24V motor? Hello, Operational range of the S32K144 Devkit (10-18V) is derived from both boards: DEVKIT-MOTORGD at the top and S32K144EVB board at the bottom. Even though motor of the S32K144 devkit is designed for higher voltage 24V, operation is safe and motor control capabilities of the S32K144 MCU are fully demonstrated also at lower voltage level 12V. The only difference is that the maximum no-load speed at 12V is a half of the maximum no-load speed at 24V. It's not recommended to operate the motor beyond the rated voltage range 10-18V, because higher voltage would require more changes to be implemented, particularly on the S32K144EVB. Battery voltage (12V) supplies also S32K144EVB, where the linear voltage regulator converts the battery voltage from (12V) to 5V to supply MCU. 24V might be limiting for it. Besides that, there are also some passive components around which have been selected primarily for 12V. It should be noted that S32K144 development kit has been primarily designed for development purposes not as reference design.
