Hi

I am planning to purchase the MTRCKTDPS5643L motor control development kit for dual-motors (PMSM) application.

Before placing an order, just would like to understand if this DevKit could work with MathWorks/Simulink ASW development or only design for C-source code development.

I have been searching for it, but still unclear.

Some information on the MathWorks hardware support website (Model Based Design Toolbox), it does not mention anything for this DevKit.

Thanks

Hello,

No, we currently does not have.

There will be one at end of 2023 released based on S32K396.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter @petervlna ,

Would you know if there is any NXP DevKit for dual-motor control applications other than MTRCKTDPS5643L motor control DevKit, please?

I am trying to find it, but no luck.

Is it possible to build one custom-made DevKit?

Thanks

Hello,

I do not see it is supporting the SPC5643L device at all.

Here is the list of supported MPC5xxx

Secondly I would not use old devices like SPC5643L for new designs.

I recommend to use at least SPC574xP or the latest motor control replacement S32K396 device. Since those has a lot of support tools and will make your development easier.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Kalaimani Arumugam,

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, I should have explained my question clearly, and you are correct that MATLAB Coder, Simulink Coder, and Embedded Coder and support packages are available

However, NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox support seems not to include MPC56xx?

Hello,

Yes that would be the case. As the MDBT came in time when MPC56xx where already replaced by MPC57xx.

best regards,

Peter

Hi @TLin3

Please refer this link for nxp supporting mcu via mathlab:   https://in.mathworks.com/hardware-support/nxp.html

Most of the MCU listed in this site is working.

For your kit embedded coder and support pakage are available.

Thank

Kalaimani Arumugam
