Hello,

we have a prototype using a LS1026A. We go tout boot loader booting and no are trying to boot Linux. The kernel we are using is running on the LS1046ardb eval board. 

Linux dies upon returning from  the init_el1 function.

Any clue why this would happen?

. I used the PPA firmware from 2018 and Linux boots now.

Returning from the function is when the "eret" instructions is run.

Is that related to the use of the PPA firmware?

Hello, for newer versions of LSDK the TFA firmware (LSDK 18.12 onward) replaces PPA firmware (LSDK 18.09) as trusted firmware in U-Boot boot flow, please check what version you are using.
