Hello , I got 2 questions:

1. when to use u-boot.bin and when to use u-boot.imx ?

2. how to dump u-boot.bin and u-boot.imx, which tool should I learn to use ? Can you show me an example?

I git cloned git://git.freescale.com/imx/uboot-imx.git

but I can't find a  tool to dump u-boot.bin in it.
