Requirement for VDD_SOC_IN

Hi all

I'm using HW design checking list rev 3.0 and have question about it.

According to the No.2 of "Power and Decouple" section in schematic tab, there is a following requirement for VDD_SOC_IN.

VDD_SOC_IN requires 66μF of bulk capacitance because it supplies power for both VDD_SOC_CAP and VDD_PU_CAP.

I couldn't find it in datasheet so is this a new requirment for i.MX6 ?

Does the requirement mean that it requires 66uF in total ?

Hi Ko-hey

capacitors values are not defined in datasheet, as they are

chosen based on testing real boards. In attached part of Sabre reference

board schematic spf-27392 there are bulk capacitors (66uF in total)

and several decoupling capacitors (0.22)
