Using library compiled for ARM926EJ-S - MontaVista Linux 5.0

Hello,

I need to use imx6 with a device (cryptomemory) which is supplied with a library which was compiled for for  ARM926EJ-S - MontaVista Linux 5.0 .

Should it work with imx6 ?

The library, built for the ARM926EJ-S core and MontaVista Linux 5.0 is not guaranteed to work at all on the i.MX6's ARM Cortex A9 core and current Linux BSP. It would be better to get this library in source and then rebuild it with appropriate toolchain.

I am not sure I can will get the source code.

Is there a slight chance that the compiled library will run with imx6 ?
