USB Camera to Ethernet Video Streaming CPU Load / HW Acceleration

VPU performance: CSI-2 MIPI camera vs. USB camera 

I see this question above with regard to bringing in camera data via USB and streaming it out ethernet taking high CPU resource on the i.MX6.  Is there better hardware acceleration for a task such as this in the i.MX8MMiniLite?  About how much CPU loading would one expect for a lower resolution type say 640X480 compressed stream at 15-30fps?
