Read IMX8X internal temperature

I would like the know if it's possible to read the internal temperature of the IMX8X without passing by the SCFW? (sc_misc_get_temp)

no. Also for reading temperature one can look at sect.2.9 Thermal  i.MX Linux Reference Manual​
