Dear, Sir:
We have a custom i.mx8M Mini board.
we have validated 4GB LPDDR4 on it and it works fine.
Now we change the LPDDR4 from 4GB to 8GB. And we encounter some problems.
The DDR Register Programming Aid (RPA) we use is "MX8M_Mini_LPDDR4_RPA_v18.xlsx".
The NXP DDR tool we use is "mscale_ddr_tool _v3.20_setup.exe".
First, we follow the DRAM datasheet to set up device information for 8GB LPDDR4 in RPA.
Then, we load the .ds file to the board via NXP DDR tool.
But the information shown in NXP DDR tool is not correct.
The "total DRAM density" should be "8192MB" instead of "4096".
And the "ROW size" should be "17" instead of "16".
If we execute the stress test, the test result shows error:
Is there any way to make 8GB LPDDR4 work on i.mx8M Mini?
Thanks~!!!
BR,
Richard
