Loop back of Display output data to CSI inputs

Hi

We are using IMX6 Quad based COM for one of our end application,need info on whether it is possible to loop back LVDS Display or MIPI DSI outputs from the processor to MIPI CSI for validation of CSI interaface in our end application with some test data.

Need also some first hand information on data format compatibility between these interfaces.

Hi Harish

seems lvds is not compatible with mipi-dphy,

both mipi dsi and csi have mipi-dphy and can be connected together.

However timings and protocols are different so seems this also not possible.
