LPDDR4 Capacity for IMX8M Mini

Hello,

I'm planning to change 2GB LPDDR4 to 4GB for the IMX8M Mini Quad board.

Or change 2GB to 1/2/4 / 8GB
→Is there a problem, when not changing the hardware design？

The 4GB can work. And for 8GB DRAM, lower 3GB can be accessed by all the modules, higher 5GB is A53 CPU only.

Is the higher 5GB available to any configuration of the A53 or only when using a Quad-A53?  The following note is in the i.MX 8M Mini RM that specifically states the "Quad-A53".  It is not clear to me why it would be the Quad configuration only.

If you do not use the GPU,VPU, the 512MB can work. But do not recommend you to use. You can use 2GB as our reference design.
