Is there any i.MX6 hardware platform good for developing an IP PBX system?

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of looking for a hardware platform to develop an IP PBX system. It should be pretty powerful due to the required tasks such as VoIP gateways. I am considering i.mx6 due to it impressive capability; however, I can not find any information on the Internet that presents the use of i.mx6 for ip pbx, which makes me feel I am going into wrong directions. Please kindly help me resolve this problem. In case, i.MX6 is not a good choice for my applications, any suggest on other platforms will be greatly appreciated,

Hello Nguyen,

I have seen customers that have used the i.MX6Q for PBX systems, though unfortunately we do not have an app note or any documentation for you to guide in the development of a PBX system.

Indeed the i.MX6 is a good fit for it, the NEON processor helps a lot.
