Is it Possible to do baremetal framebuffer programming on iMX6Q sabre-sd?

Hi,

I am trying bare-metal programming in imx6q sabre-sd board. How can i access framebuffer in bare-metal and write a value to the display? What all drivers should i need to access framebuffer? Does anyone have any sample code for the same? 

Any documents or sample code is highly welcomed. Please help.

For display fb driver and access you can use uboot, it contains support for the LVDS display we are using in combination with i.MX6Q SABRESD board:
