I have a 4 lane MIPI 1920x1200 resolution LCD and will start a new design with IMX8M Dual. In datasheet dispaly interface option is as follows.

MIPI-DSI Display Interface:
• MIPI-DSI 4 channels supporting one display, resolution up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz.

Is it possible to use 1920x1200 resolution LCD in this design?  What will be the effect if I use this LCD.

Will it be in full functionality, or do i need to apply low fps to catch full resolution?

I need at least 50 fps. I wonder about the performance in 60 fps while driving 1200 columns instead of 1080. Will this mismatch cause an effect or flickering on image? I planned lowering fps to 50 to prevent any effect on image. I will need at least 50 fps to catch better user experience in page swiping and video performance.

Will the design be ok with 50 fps? Or off course it will be perfect if there is no problem in 60 fps.

refer to the  i.MX 8MQ reference manual, The MIPI-DSI output resolution is supported up to 1920x1080@60 or 1800x1200@60

so if you need 1920x1200 resolution, couldn't reach 60fps, 50fps should be ok
