How to download Linux image files through the usb2.0 interface on imx8qm

Hi NXP:

          By default，Imx8qm dewnload linux image files through the type-C interface. As shown in the picture "Default Download". But now i want download linux image files througt the USBOH interface.  I refer to the "8.5 How to enable USB 2.0 in U-Boot for i.MX 8QuadMax/8QuadXPlus"section of "Android_User's_Guide.pdf", The modifications on linux is invalid. But it's work on Android platform.

What other modifications do i need to make on linux ?

For using usb2.0 through uuu, you need to modify u-boot and rebuild it. How to rebuild you can refer to the "8.5 How to enable USB 2.0 in U-Boot for i.MX 8QuadMax/8QuadXPlus"section of "Android_User's_Guide.pdf".

You can try it and then give me the result.

In linux project, I modify u-boot and rebuild it, But it still doesn't work.

In android project, I modify u-boot and rebuild it,  Android images can be downloaded through usb2.0. What othre changes need to be done in linux project?

In imx8qm dts only have usbotg1 and usb2, there is no configuration associated with the typec.

The method is the same with android BPS, you need to remove the CONFIG_USB_TCPC in the fsl-imx8qm-evk.dts. The above is  for  i.MX8MM & i.MX8MQ you just can refer to. Not the same.

You can to to http://www.nxp.com/support/support:SUPPORTHOME to create new case, describe this question in the case you said  to weidong sun, he will confirm it for you.
