i.MX6DQ RM of 29.4 GPMI NAND Mode Describes on Check Status-The Read-and-Compare mode allows the GPMI to check NAND status against a reference.

What check is this?
Will check the verify the written data ?

this command compares read data (usually NAND status)

with REFERENCE data as described in

IMX6DQRM 29.6.2 GPMI Compare Register Description (GPMI_COMPARE)
