Hi all I can't understand between cold and warm reset. In reference manual P5062, there is a table that is shown SRC reset functionality. However, there are no difference between cold and warm reset. http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/IMX6DQRM.pdf What is the difference between cold and warm reset? Best Regards,

Actually there is always alternative: provide short and not
accurate answer and provide long and accurate. I would choose last. :smileyhappy:
Hi ko-hey
difference is dscribed in sect.60.6.1.2.4 COLD RESET
60.6.1.2.5 WARM RESET IMX6DQRM
Probably main difference is that during warm reset MMDC
can put DDR in self refresh.
Best regards

Hi Igor
I apologized it. I think it is just as you say.
So let me talk about Table 60-4.
In Table 60-4, it looks no functionally difference between COLD and WARM reset.
What's the difference between COLD and WARM reset?
Is the main difference only self refresh?
Best Regards,
ko-hey
