Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6Q IPU.

Please see Figure 37-22 in IMX6DQRM Rev.1.

According to this figure, SMFC has 4 DMA channels.

And SMFC seems that it can use multiple channels to transfer data input from MIPI-CSI.

Then, how about in the case input from parallel camera?

Can SMFC use only one DMA channel to transfer if data is input from a parallel camera?

Or can it use multiple DMA channels?

Hi Satoshi,

you are right, from a parallel camera SMFC can use

only one DMA channel. "DI (data identifier)" concept is used

only for MIPI interface, this is described in sect.37.4.3.2.2
