I am looking for a method to do an accelerated, color keyed, blit onto a frame buffer prior to sending it to the video encoder. We would use this to composite a graphic overlay onto the video stream. I’ve read http://cache.freescale.com/files/training/doc/ftf/2014/FTF-CON-F0223.pdf but I would need the IPU to deposit the result back into memory to be encoded instead of rendering it to an output. Do you have an example using the GPU2D to do this via OpenGL?
