Hello I am investigating the reference manual for Vybrid processor R-series. I am tiring to find the is there are limitations for the maximum size of the NAND flash connected to the Vybrid. Do you have any recommendations about using 512MB NAND?

Hello Maxim,

NAND flashes use 5 cycle addressing:

In NFC you can select address by:

column NFC_CAR - 2 bytes

row NFC_RAR - 3 bytes + 2 CS.

So theoretically it is really big memory.

No official recommendation for 512MB. On TWR-VF65 we use MT29F2G16ABAEAWP:E 256MB (2Gb).
