Hello,

We want to participate this year in the Freescale Cup, and we were thinking about asking design students to make our Car Body , is it possible?

Section 2: Team Rules and Requirements

1. A team can either consist of all undergraduate students (minimum of 2;

maximum of 4) or can include 1 graduate student but must contain at least 2

undergraduate students on the team.

2. Cars will be designed and constructed by students ONLY.

hi Thibault,

yes, you can ask design students to create a car body as long as you do not modify the footprint of the chassis, change the wheels or the spacing between the wheels. Just keep in mind that the body must be removed for the technical inspection and that the team has limited time during the race to access the systems or replace the battery
