Hi Deega,

you can take a look at Table 5 in:

https://evita-project.org/Publications/WG11.pdf

If HSM is needed, you can take a look at MPC5748G (Evita Light/Medium) or coming S32K3 (Evita Full). Notice that MPC5748G with HSM firmware needs to be requested at sales and S32K3 is still in preproduction status. So, please contact local sales in either case.

Regards,

Lukas

Hi, S32K3XX MCU is Evita full but instead of HSM its having HSE? Why S32K3xx  does not support HSM? What is the difference between HSE and HSM.

Hello @deega_jung,

HSM is developed to support V2X use cases and SHE is an implementation of the SHE specification which provides security features to automotive applications. SHE is part of the baseline SECO FW available on all i.MX 8 and 8X family (excluding the i.MX 8M families), and HSM is an optional extension to these services.

Hi Lukas,

Thank you for your reply, I've very helpful.

I have one more inquiry.

Can you introduce an HSM device that can be used as a single chip that is not included in the MCU?

Thanks,

Deega

I'm afraid there's no such device.
