I have some doubts about RTD version,
1. What's the difference between "Installation details" and "Extensions and Updates"?
2. I have already uninstalled RTD 2.0.2 in "Extensions and Updates", why RTD 2.0.2 still shows in "Installation details"? Is there any difference?
3. Should the development package "S32DS_3.4.1_D2110" and RTD package"
RTD_4.4_1.0.0_DS_updatesite_D2110" keep the same version? For example, should they both be D2110?
4. If I want to use both S32K344 and S32K342, which version of development package and RTD package should I use? Or I should use two versions of the packeges to fit K344 and K342 separately. If I should use two versions, can I install them in one IDE(S32 Design Studio 3.4.1)?
Hello,
The S32 Design Studio is a combination of the a base package of Eclipse with NXP-developed features and NXP-device specific support added on top. The S32DS Extensions and Updates is a feature of the S32 Design Studio. It was added to enable the ability to enforce dependencies between packages and to prevent incompatible installation configurations. The Installation Details and Install New Software features are part of the base Eclipse package which comes from the global Eclipse community. It is developed and maintained by the Eclipse community and is not modified by NXP.
The versions of the S32K3 development packages and S32K3 RTD AUTOSAR 4.4 packages are completely independent and any matches in version labeling are purely coincidental.
When you select the package in the S32DS Extensions and Updates feature, the Overview panel will detail which devices are supported by the package.
