S32K3 SPD compatibility with S32 Design Studio version

I have checked S32K3_SPD_1.0.3_ReleaseNotes.txt from S32 Safety Software Framework (SAF) and Safety Peripheral Drivers (SPD) | NXP Semiconductors, the release note said "Install the latest version of S32 Design Studio for S32 platform (currently v.3.5 SP1)". Our project is using S32DS 3.4 and RTD 2.0.0.

In order to integrate with SPD, do we need to upgrade S32DS IDE? Any migration guidance to move from old S32DS and RTD version to new ones?

Hi

If your project is development with S32DS v3.4 and S32K3 RTD 2.0.0, then you'd better download S32K3 Safety Peripheral Drivers version 1.0.2.

S32K3_SPD_1.0.3_ReleaseNotes.txt mentioned that S32DS v3.5 SP1+S32K3 RTD 3.0.0 or 3.0.0 P07 is required. If you install S32K3 Safety Peripheral Drivers version 1.0.3, you may need to reconfigure in S32DS v3.5 referring to the S32Configuration Tool of the original project.

How about S32K3_SAF_1.0.3_EVAL_DS? I'd like to review the SAF package but I cannot find 1.0.2 version or older ones compatible with S32 Design Studio 3.4.

Here are the release notes of S32K3 SAF:

S32K3_SAF_1.0.3: S32K3 RTD 3.0.0 or 3.0.0 P07 + S32DS v3.5. Have you contacted Distributor Network to inquire about the availability of different versions of S32K3 Safety Software Framework?
