EB Tresos License activation failed

EB Tresos License activation failed

I cannot do EB Client License activation. The GUI of license administration says that Trusted Storage initialization failed. Also, Machine ID cannot be determined. Do you have any workaround?

Hello,

Hmm, never seen such error reports.

What comes to my mind is some firewall or VPN active so you cant connect to license server.

But since the Tresos is not NXP product, it is hard to judge.

Best would be to get in touch with EB support.

I have found only below explanation:

The error "EB: trusted storage initialization failed" often indicates a problem with the EB (Elektrobit) licensing process, specifically related to the trusted storage where the license information is stored. This can be caused by corrupted license files, changes to hardware or software configurations, or connection issues with the EB license server.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your reply. Actually, it was due to a security software issue in my company laptop, and I could not install the license SW correctly. With IT support, I could successfully install it. Now I can activate the license.
