S32 design studio installation failed

I tried to install S32 Design studio for ARM v2.2 on my desktop PC But, I'm failed for that.

I received the installation file(S32DS_ARM_Win32_v2_2.exe) and I executed it.

After I entered the activation code the software has not responded.

I think my activation code has expired

( 096E-3C68-5CE0-FE68, ~May 13,2021 )

How to extend my activation code date?

( I have installed the same SW on my laptop also then there is no problem has happened

  activation code updated automatically )

Hello @TaehoLee ,

Your license was already extended to 2025, so there should be no issue with expiration. There could be an issue with access to the activation server through your company firewall. This would explain why the issue did not occur on you personal device. To solve this please follow the Offline Activation steps detailed in  HOWTO: Activate S32 Design Studio - NXP Community . It is also detailed in the installation guide provided with the S32DS installation file on the website.

I tried offline activation but also the same phenomenon has happened

(After loading the activation.xml file system has not responded)

Is it possible to remove my all device from my account?

I would like to try to initialize license & device history

My laptop also used my company internet but there is no problem

because I think that is the new device that is not registered on your license list 

But, my desktop PC is already registered on your license history

it may solution or not? I would like to try that kind of method

Could you please provide the installation log file 'C:\NXP\S32DS_ARM_v2.2\_S32 Design Studio for ARM Version 2.2_installation\Logs'?

It may have some clues as to why it is failing to respond correctly to the loading of activation.xml.

That kind of path & file is not existing on my PC

Only 'C:\NXP\S32DS_ARM_v2_2\jre' folder is existing on my PC

Please check that your login account on the desktop PC is part of the administrators group. It is not enough to simply 'run as administrator'.

Could you please describe how the InstallAnywhere program is ended after you say that it doesn't respond to your entry of the activation code?

Please try to re-initialize the trusted storage by performing the following:

-> Delete 'C:\ProgramData\FLEXNet'

This folder may be hidden by default, so then it would be necessary to change Windows Explorer settings to show hidden items.

I had tried all kinds of methods with a maintenance team of our company but, finally failed.

the phenomenon is the same as before.

I tried this

 1) Delete 'C:\ProgramData\FLEXNet'
 2) Logon with an administrator account

 3) Disable firewall of my windows & all my security SW of our company 

If I tried to install S32 design studio, installation is always stopped

after input an activation code(Both on-line & off-line activation method are the same)

After I input an activation code then choose on-line then SW is not responded

So, I used task manager to shut down install SW (or off the PC power switch )

Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

Before we continue to dig even deeper into this issue, I'd like to ask you about your decision install S32DS for Arm v2.2.

What target are you planning to develop application for? S32K1xx?

Did you know that we have ceased further development of the S32 Design Studio for Arm? We have migrated our support for the S32K1xx and S32V2xx families to the S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform (current version is 3.4). We are providing all of our updates and new device support now to S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform. If possible, I would ask that you consider using this newer tool for your development needs. As this version is being well supported, it may have some updates which resolve this installation issue for you.

The SW has successfully installed on my PC when I used "S32 design studio for S32 platform"

One more question,

Currently, I would like to use S32K144 MCU Also, I will use S9KEA32 later.

Now I have S32K144EVB board I will use it.

I can't find example code in the "S32 design studio for S32 platform"

When I use "S32 design studio for ARM" I tested several functions using the example code

If I select "New Project from Examples", I can't find any example 

Where I can find the example code or How can I add the example code to my S32 design studio?

The example projects are included when you install the S32 SDK for S32K1xx.

After this package is installed, you should find the example projects listed in the New Project from Example wizard.
