I checked the license server, there was one user able to re-activate with updated expiration date. It only gives me an encrypted machine ID so I cannot tell who. There were a number (about 20) of expired licenses from prior activations. I manually returned them so now there is just the 1 license. Try again. If that doesn't work, your trusted storage may be corrupted and needs to be re-initialized. To correct this:
Windows host:
-> Delete 'C:\ProgramData\FLEXNet'
This folder may be hidden by default, so then it would be necessary to change Windows Explorer settings to show hidden items.
Linux host:
/usr/local/share/macrovision/storage
