OpenWrt on T1040 processor

Is it possible to install OpenWrt to t1040 based board? Why LSDK does not have this option?

I added new configuration to openwrt, and was able to compile it for t104x boards!!! Now it works!!! I very satisfied to have luci web interface, package manager and other components easy to install and configure on my device. now I like OpenWrt more than yocto )

OpenWrt doens't support T1040, LSDK only support Layerscape platforms, doesn't support T1040 either.

You could use Yocto 3.1 release, please refer to

there is an openwrt layer for yocto https://github.com/kraj/meta-openwrt .  It has main components of openwrt UCI -command line interface, LUCI web interface and some others. I was able to to compile it for t1040 based board, but to make it work i have to go more deep. The other way is to add new platform support to openwrt SDK. Was someone go these ways and had achived any result? Can be there  something to makes it hard or impossible?
