Hello,

I have a general question w.r.t temperature calculation from the data sheet of VR5510 Multi-Output PMIC.

Vtemp25 : Temperature Sensor Voltage at 25 deg C : Min 0.67V : Typ: 0.69V : Max : 0.71V

Vtemp_coeff : Temperature Sensor Coefficient : Min -2 : Typ --  : Max -1.9 mV/degC

Kindly let me know on how do I calculate temperature.

Thanks.

Hello Girish,

a formula to calculate the temperature in the VR5510 temperature sensor is T(°C) = [(VAMUX  VTEMP25) /VTEMP_COEFF] + 25. It's for the typical value. I have created an excel file with a graph comparing the temperature with the measured voltage. Please find it attached.

With Best Regards,

Jozef

Hello @JozefKozon

I have one additional question about this topic. How we can get the VAMUX value in voltages? When we read the Amux channel for temperature we get value in digital representation, but in a formula, we are using voltage values.
