Hi,

I am looking for the execution time of the assembler/machine instructions. The document EREFRM.pdf (Reference Manual for BookE; chapt. 6: instruction set) doesn't list the clock cycles for each command. Where are they listed instead?

I am especially interested in the execution time of the "stmw" instruction.

Thanks in advance,
regards,
Afu.

Hello Afu,

The execution time for the instution set supported by the MPC5567 can be found within the e200Z6 reference manual. The timings are provided in the core reference manual rather than the BookE reference manual as different cores will execute instructions in a different number of cycles.

The e200Z6 reference manual can be found in the documentation section on the MPC5567 web page.

Regards,
David
