Hello @Vilgot

Hope you are doing well.

The Authentication Type and Encryption Type will depend on the characteristics defined by your Wi-Fi Access Point and it is something you may need to check in its configuration.

If your device is within the Wi-Fi range, TagWriter should list the network under "Available Wifi Networks", and those fields should be filled by default.

Regards,
Eduardo.

Hi Eduardo
Thanks for Your reply but I am still not getting it to work.
I feel like I’m getting the right info into the nfc but it’s never worked just putting my phone on the nfc tag for WiFi.
It’s has worked with other functions but not with WiFi.
Because if I haven’t gotten it wrong I understand that I shouldn’t need any applications to get the WiFi on the nfc.
Do you have any idea of what the problem is ?
And also it would be easier if I could send a video of it not working, is this possible? Maybe on another platform?
Thank you/ Vilgot

Hello,

Could you please provide more details on your setup?

What is the tag you are using for the test? What is the mobile device you are using to read de tag with the WiFi credentials?

If needed, you can attach the files to your post.

Regards,
Eduardo.

Hi,

Application launch after reading a tag may have some limitations or restrictions in iOS devices. I will recommend you redirecting your inquiry to the corresponding iOS support documentation and forums.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Eduardo.
