Writing Java for Android app, I am able to set the password protection for the NTAG213 tag. However, upon trying to remove the password, it does not work. Could someone help with a document or the correct procedure to follow? The data sheet does not include any examples or explain clearly. -Steve

Upon setting the Password Protection, is it possible for an attacker to reverse the protection by writing FFh to Auth0?

Hello,

Changing this field is possible only in the Authenticated state, after a successful password authentication.

BR,

Ivan.

Hello,

If password protection is no longer required, please set AUTH0 to FFh, this is the initial state of NTAG21x where the password protection is disabled.

Hope this helps.

BR,

Ivan.
