Cannot run FreeMASTER MCAT on MTRDEVKSPNK144 kit

Hi,

I bought the MTRDEVKSPNK144 - 3-Phase PMSM Motor kit through the Farnell distributor. Now I see that there are newer (active) versions, MTRDEVKSBNK144 and MCSPTE1AK144 and I would like to know the hardware and software/firmware differences between these kits. The kit I bought does not contain any software support (CD, DVD, Memory stick) and although the motor is running controlled by SW2, SW3 (OK LED) I can't connect it to FreeMaster (3.1). Specifically in the C:\NXP folder there is no installed application or folders \ MCSPTE1AK144, \MC_DevKits\MCSPTE1AK144\sw. The only application I found in S32K SDK is freemaster_s32k144.pmp. There is no s32_pmsm_sensorless.pmp application to allows access to FreeMASTER MCAT (steps 7-10 from QSG) or to control the motor.

OK, I got some information from author:

There is no change in HW at all. The Naming of the KIt was changed in order to better describe kit.

Additionally there were MTRDEVKSBNK144, MTRDEVKSPNK144 and now it is replaced with one kit MCSPTE1AK144 where you can burn 4 different example SW.

You can find SW release notes in folder where the SW is installed.

I do not expect that HW changes will cause any issues. I will ask demo author if there were any which can influence the application execution.
