Dear NXP Staff,

we are currently working with 1.2.0 and MATLAB/Simulink. From other forum posts we have learned about the difference of RTM (ready for manufacturing) and EAR (early access release).

Since the end of may there is 1.4.0 RFP. Does it mean "ready for production"? What is the difference to RTM?

Thx, Markus

Hi @mweiss

There is no difference in terms of the toolbox purpose between 1.2.0 RTM and 1.4.0 RFP, this being just an internal term that we are using for our releases. Hence, the latest MBDT for S32K3 version (released end of may) is not ready for production, but an enhanced version of the 1.2.0, which enables multiple processors of the S32K3 family, and provides several additional features and improvements on the toolbox capabilities.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or if you encounter any issues while using MBDT for S32K3.

Thank you,

Irina
