Startup Problem MPC5746C

Hi,

I have a problem regarding the program startup sequence for MPC5746C MCU with the S32 design studio.

Program is not running properly when I run step by step, the program is crashing after that "startup_MPC5746C.s" line 159 "mtmsr r6" command.

What is the problem? Is there a hardware or software problem?

could you please explain this problem if it can be solved.

Hi,

I guess you have pending Machine check and once you enable it your device will jump into IVOR1

If you share with me compiled code you are using I can check where is the issue as from the screenshot I am not able to tell you the root cause.

Thanks for your response Peter,

I can share the compiled code but this problem exists for all program for this MCU. Other word Program independent.

can we say the MCU has a hardware error?

Do you serve IVOR1 in your code?

You can try all our example codes and see that there is no issue with MCU:

Furthermore, did you used our EVB or your custom designed board?

Share some more info regarding your setup, project, etc...
